Thunderstorm Inhibits Racing
Only one race was completed yesterday at the Zoom 8 World Championship in Carcans due to thunderstorms. The top standings remain the same with one more day of racing to go.
Only one race was completed yesterday at the Zoom 8 World Championship in Carcans due to thunderstorms. The top standings remain the same with one more day of racing to go.
Rebecka HARDING (swe) took the bullet and in doing so increases the pressure on the current leader Kaolina WOLNIEWICZ (POL). The battle for gold continues and with Rebeckas victory there is now only four points between them! Another Swedish girl, Caroline SCHRAMM, also did well yesterday with a third place and now puts pressure on the Russian girl Maria ROUDSKAYA, who is currently in third place overall. The battle for the medals continues!
The boys fleet is still dominated by the Swedish trio Charlie EKBERG, Gustav DAHLBORG and Fredrik SCHRAMM. Despite one OCS for Fredrik, he still remain third in total but of course this unfortunate OCS puts pressures on him to boost all his skills in the forthcoming final races!
