With the north east monsoon winds hovering around 35 knots all morning it was clear very early on that there would be no racing on the final day of the King of Wind Regatta.
With the north east monsoon winds hovering around 35 knots all morning it was clear very early on that there would be no racing on the final day of the King of Wind Regatta.
Due to the early arrival of the north east monsoon winds no races were sailed in the finals series the overall results were therefore as at the end of qualification.
Overall winner in the 49er class is Allan NORREGARD and Klaus NAUER from Denmark, fellow countrymen Michael HESTBAEK and Dennis ANDERSEN finished in second position.
Australian Gold Medallist Mark Turnbull with crew Nick Partridge finished third overall just one point behind Hestbaek/Andersen.
