Hunger and Jess Still on Top
After a postponement of over four hours waiting for wind in the hot and sunny conditions, a gentle north westerly breeze settled for sufficient time for the 505 fleet to complete the sixth race of the 505 World Championship.

After a postponement of over four hours waiting for wind in the hot and sunny conditions, a gentle north westerly breeze settled for sufficient time for the 505 fleet to complete the sixth race of the 505 World Championship.
Championship leaders, Hunger and Jess of Germany, had their worst result of the championship finishing in eleventh place but retain a commanding lead over their closest challenges. Bergstrom and Barne (SWE) finished third and remain in second overall after Pinnell and Hunt (GBR) also had their worst result of the championship finishing 13.
Race 6 was a good one for the Zimbabwe team of Patrick McCOSH and Dennis LAPHAM who took the lead on the first leg and finished in seventh place – their next best result in this championship is 25 and they are currently lying in 34 overall.
