So far it is the Dutch and New Zealanders who are dominating this regatta, between them sharing all of the top 20 places. It is Netherlands one, two and three so far with just six points separating Rinse UBBINK, Timo HAGOORT and Michel VAN DER MEULEN. Paul LAMBERT and Brett ELSTOB, both from New Zealand are in fourth and fifth respectively and with only ten points separating the top five there is everything to play for when a discard is included in the results. With a poor performance in Race One, it is Elstob who is looking the strongest, taking two bullets and a second in the other three races.
All competitors are between 13 and 18 years old and are scheduled to complete 16 races
