Jonathan and Libby MCKEE (USA)were crowned Tasar World Champions at the award Banquet in Victoria on Friday, having won the event by a clear ten points over countrymen Carol and Carl BUCHAN.

In fact, American sailors took the top three spots in the 62 boat fleet and proved fairly dominant in the weather conditions in Canada.
A full series of 12 races was sailed and the Mckees sailed an almost flawless regatta, never finishing outside of the top six and winning with a race to spare.
