Day two of the Tornado European championship in Cagliari in southern Sardinia was held in south south-easterly winds of 6-7 knots that increased marginally to 8-10 over the course of the day.

At present is the Greek crews of Iordanis PASCHALIDIS and Christof GAREFIS who hold a narrow lead over Sydney Gold medallists Roman HAGARA and Hans Peter STEINACHER of Austria in the European Championship. Meanwhile Darren BUNDOCK and John FORBES (AUS)are leading overall in the international Mats Nyberg Trophy.
