Following windy conditions over the weekend and the cancellation of race one, the I14 Europeans got underway with two races in bright sunshine and moderate breezes yesterday.
After two races it’s the local team of Geoff CARVETH and Adrian MURPHY (GBR) who currently lead the 52 boat fleet after scoring consistently on the first day. Today sees the annual running of the Prince of Wales Cup Race, one of the most coveted prizes in 14 sailing worldwide.
The POW cup is not included in the overall points for the European Championship, so racing continues tomorrow and concludes on Friday 13 June.
