Strong Winds Force Postponement of Start

The 23 boats competing in the Odyssée of Ulysses were to leave Tunisia on Wednesday, but the conditions (wind of force 8 to 9) led the Organising Committee to delay departure by 24 hours.

The Minis are therefore scheduled to cross the starting line on the second stage between Tunisia and Antibes this morning.

A small change of course was announced, due to the forecast wind from the north-east of 30 to 35 knots, which may mean the skippers have to leave the Islands of Sardinia and Corsica to starboard.
