The conditions were again favourable for day 3 of the ISAF Grade 2 470 Spring Cup in Cannes, France. Two long races were completed yesterday and it was a good day for the French crews.
7 crews were disqualified from race 6 and 2 from race 7. With half the regatta completed, the Israelis Yogev and Shakaf, are separated by 12 points from the Argentinian crew Conte and Fuente. Positions can still change as less than 20 points separate the Stanczyk and Jakubica (POL) in 4th and Basic and Cupac (CRO) in 10th, so there is still very much to play for. Ukraineans Braslavets and Matvienko move into 3rd place overall with the first of the French teams Gildas and Nicholas lying in 5th.
