Brazilian Wins Another Title
Alexandre Paradeda, Caio Vergo and André Gick (BRA) won the Soling South American Championship, which concluded yesterday, by only one point from Gustavo Walburg, Santiago Jost and Maximo Feldtmann (ARG).

Showing good consistency throughout the regatta, they proved that hard work could bring good results and helmsman Paradeda, now has another major championship title to add to his quiver, having already won the Snipe World Championship earlier this year. Fourth overall going into the day, he eventually won the title, when Gustavo Walburg, the leader going into the last race could only manage a sixth place, dropping him from first to second overall.
George Nehm, Marcos Pinto Ribeiro and Lúcio Pinto Ribeiro (ARG) won two out of the final days races giving them the best result of the day, however some poor results earlier in the week kept them off the top spot. They finished third overall in the sixteen boat fleet sailing from Buenos Aires.
