After eight races at the Sunfish World Championship, Eduardo Cordero (VEN) has successfully defended his title to becom World Champion again.

Racing concluded at the weekend and although pushed hard by John Kolius (USA) who finished second, Cordero didn’t count a result out of the top three to lead the overall by 15 points from Kolius.

Twenty Sunfish sailors from Bahamas, Bermuda, Canada, Chile, Guatemala, Italy, Peru, Puerto Rico and Venezuela competed against fortyfive US sailors at the Sunfish World Championship at Houston Yacht Club and saw a range of conditions.
