Hexagon Sets Sail

Graham Dalton, skipper of HSBC-sponsored round-the-world yacht Hexagon, set sail today, 0200hrs BST, from Plymouth, UK, for the United States and the start of the Around Alone race on 15 September. He expects to reach Newport, Rhode Island around 6 Sept.

Schools will be able to chart Dalton’s progress in the Around Alone race by taking part in the HSBC Global Education Challenge. The challenge is a programme of 32 online weekly modules aimed at children aged between 9 and 12, and can be accessed through www.education.hsbc.com.
