Karol Jablonski (POL) Takes Grade 1 Event Title

The ISAF Grade 1 Yava Trophy was won by Karol Jablonski (POL). Raced in the three-man Ricoshet 750, the event welcomed 12 sailors from 7 countries.

As the top-ranked match racer at the event, Jablonski was the odds on favourite, with his current ranking of 6th in the world. At last year’s event, Jablonski placed third.

This is an excellent follow-on for Jablonski, who in June won the ISAF Grade 1 Amer Sports Cup, upsetting the form book to win the ISAF Grade 1 Amer Sports Cup, defeating Jesper Radich (DEN) (at the time ISAF World ranked number 3).

Ranked 14th in the world, the defending champion Andrew Arbuzov (RUS) will be disappointed with his 10th place finish,
