Day Four

In the Raceboard class Hugh Simms Williams (GBR) lies third overall, while Peter Bird (GBR), the local medal hope lies third overall in the Aloha youth and juniors’ class.

Winds are forecast to pick up for Friday and Saturday with only the Formula class now requiring one race to have the event recognised as a valid championships.

” This is the way it goes sometimes and the whole complexion of the event will become much more favourable with just one more day of good racing. With wind we could realistically expect to get four of five races in for the Formula Class, and three or four at least for the Aloha and Raceboard fleets.” Suggested the International Windsurfing Association’s director Ceri Williams
