The Spaniards are showing very well in what is in effect the ‘B’ Worlds with the best results of the day coming from Luis Miguel Perez. It was also a good day for Mihovil Fantela (CRO), brother of 2000 world champion Sime.
By contrast in the girls event Alessandra Ferlich (ITA) with 2:3 on today’s racing has opened up a 23 point lead over the fleet. Tina Mihelic (CRO) lies second and her compatriot Enia Nincevic had an excellent day to rank 4th. The very experienced Marieke Jongens (NED) also enjoyed the rather stronger winds of the day and is in third place.
