Day Two

Day two of the 470 European Championships, Tallinn, Estonia, got underway in 3-7 knots of breeze and flat seas.

Gideon Kliger/Udi Gal of Israel are leading the 58 boat men’s fleet by four points from Nicolas Charbonner/Stephane Christidis. of France. The Italians Gabrio Zandona/Andrea Trani are in third position.

Vladeline Ilienko/Diana Krutskih of Russia are currently leading the women’s class but competition is tight as Janja Orel/Alena Orel of Slovenia are on even points in second place. Whilst Franzska Durig/Andrea Kropfli of Switzerland are just five points adrift in third position.

The competitors have one more day of qualifying before sailing the finals series which concludes on the 3 August.
