According to the provisional results published for Race 8 Ben Ainslie (GBR) has sealed the Finn Gold Cup for 2002 with one race to spare. There is one more race scheduled to take place today. The race is still on for Silver and Bronze.

Yesterday’s Race 7 was completed in strong wind conditions. Sebastien Godefroid (BEL) revelled in the rolling swell and strong winds. “It was great fun out there, I love these big waves, a pity there wasn’t a second one!!” said Godefroid.
