Skudder and Hill (GBR) Take the Title

Nigel Skudder and Keith Hill (GBR) are the new Laser 2 European Champions. In Gravedona they were first on a 50 boat fleet. In second position Graeme Bristow and Bryan Mobbs (GBR) are followed by the Clancy brothers (IRL).

The last day of the European Championship saw a light breeze on the lake. To complete the program the fleet have to make 2 last races.

Race 8: The first race was biased by a strong wind shift on the left side of the race area that make the mark side favourable. For the victory in this race battled Clancy-Clancy and Sfameni-Bonelli. With the first ones that won. Third DeJong -DeJong made also a great step forward in the overall score.

Race 9. In less clear wind condition with a port biased start again, Roll-Duewel leaded at the first mark. In the run the crews, like Krijgsman-Leenheer, that sailed the center of the course made a big gain. In the next upwind leg the battle behind Roll-Duewel saw Butler-Campion prevail on Bertelli-Scaramelli.
