Farokh Tarapore and Vikas Kapila (IND) won the 420 Open World championship held in Tavira, Portugal from 10 to 19 the July.

This is a marvellous success story for the young Indian 420 Class Association that was only created 3 years ago.
In second position were Nic Asher and Elliott Willis (GBR). In third position were Morgan Lagravier and Noe Delpech (FRA).
The results of the 420 Ladies World are in first place Coraline Jonet and Magali Pallanca (FRA), and in second position Spiroula Mileaou and Sofia Papadopoulou (GRE) and in third position Isabel Barzaghi Ficker and Laura Zani (BRA).
Spain won the Francis Mouvet 420 Team World Championship defeating Italy, and France was third.
