The Europe European Champions were decided yesterday in light to moderate breezes in Nieuwpoort, Belgium.

In the women’s class it was Sari Multala (FIN) who has dominated the class throughout the championship who took the title. Scoring seven first places out of ten races, to secure the championship with a fourteen-point lead over second placed Trine Abraharnsen (DEN). Sarah Macky (NZL) took the bronze medal for third position.
Soren Johnsen (DEN) won the men’s title with consistent scores of seven and six on the final day it was enough to tie up the championship, and win by four points from Patrick Johansson (SWE). Oscar Claeson (SWE) was just one point behind second in the bronze medal position.
