Waiting For Breeze

61 boats from 14 nations are present on Lake Thoune in Switzerland to race for the 2002 Europeans, organised by the Thunersee Yacht Club (TYC) from July 15 to 19.

After a very successful Swiss Championship last week (Swiss Champions are: DEN 313, Lars Hendriksen/Lars Stenfeldt Hansen/Nicklas Stenfeldt), used as a trial race by many entrants of the Europeans, flooding rain and very disturbed winds has prevented any valid races up to Wednesday evening for the Dragon European Championships. The fleet has been called for 6 a.m. Thursday morning, hoping for a first valid race. Four races are required to constitute a valid Championship, and they have until Friday for them to be completed.
