Finals Begin
Yesterday the finals of the 420 World Championship taking place in Tavira, Portugal began and will continue through until next Friday.

Sailors were delayed getting onto the water for a couple of hours due to a lack of wind. Then the wind filled in and blew moderately strong from the South West, creating a short chop on the water.
The only Indian team of the race distinguished themselves by winning the first and the third races of the day. Tarapore and Kapila proved that they are serious candidates for the title.
Today only the Israelis Levin and Cohen stood up to the Indians by winning the second race.
In the womens race 5 the victory belonged to the British sailors Bennel and Shorrocks. In second position finished the Greeks Mileou andPapadopoulou, and the Brazilians Barzaghi and Zani took third position.
