Ben Ainslie (GBR), relative newcomer to the Finn Class and Gold Medallist in the Laser Class at the Sydney 2000 Olympics, has moved into the lead at the Finn Europeans with only today to go.

Ben Ainslie (GBR), relative newcomer to the Finn Class and Gold Medallist in the Laser Class at the Sydney 2000 Olympics, has moved into the lead at the Finn Europeans with only today to go.
Ainlsie leads after a win in race eight, and despite a disqualification for a measurement infringement in Race 5. Olympic 2000 Silver medallist Luca Devoti (ITA) has slipped down to second after a 10th place in race eight. It could all change today though on the final day of racing, where the last possible start is at 16:00 hours.
