Snedker and Dobrevenic Win

The B14 European Championship held at Hayling Island SC was a very close event with the title going literally to the wire.

battling Tim Fells and Dave Cunningham, from Grafham SC, all the way in the final two races.

The light winds for the final days racing meant that Race Officer Bev Moss kept the fleet on shore until the wind settled but was still able to complete the full programme. Snedker and Dobrevenic won the first race from Fells and Cunningham and then caught and crossed the line just ahead of their rivals in the final race, enough to take the title by just one point.

Matt Searle and Rich Bell of Hayling Island SC were third, Jason Andrew and Joel from Eastbourne SC fourth and Dave Hayes and Sean Dwyer of Southport SC fifth.
