Yachts participating the IMS Rolex Worlds 2002, organised by Yacht Club Costa Smeralda, are racing the second part of their Offshore Regatta, that started on Tuesday morning.

The yachts will race more than 170 miles across Salerno’s Gul, and there is a very light wind (no more than 8 knots) that has caused obvious problem. Rounding San Marco Castellabate’s mark, the sails reached the jury’s boat early yesterday morning.

At the end of the first regatta, Pasquale Landolfi’s “Brava Q8” for division “A” and Natalio Cepollaro’s “Bix” for division “B” were in first position. The provisional results after this third regatta sees therefore “Brava Q8” and the greek “Okyalos XII” dominating the two divisions, racing for Marco Peroni’s Trophy.
