Telephone Call Rates to RYA Reduced

The Royal Yachting Association, National Governing body of sailing in Great Britain, have intoduced a new 0845 local call rate number. The new number 0845 3450400 connects callers to the main switchboard.

This will be followed up in the near future with dedicated new local rate numbers for other key services.

The RYA receives more than 30,000 incoming calls every month, which is nearly 1,000 calls every day. Rod Carr, RYA Chief Executive commented, ”A simple code change will be beneficial to thousands of people.”
