Green Flash SEB

ASSA ABLOY is working her way south to cover djuice and Amer Sports One. With the kite up, they sail fast speeds and do not lose from this move as the boat speed increases through the better wind angle.

These fast reaching conditions could provide djuice with a chance on a comeback as they have proven good average speed earlier this leg. News Corp shows faith in their northerly position and continues on their path.

Even without their navigator Marcel van Triest, SEB holds off the pressure illbruck is putting on them adn sails away from the German yacht. The fast run shall continue towards Bass Strait, some 750 miles away. Only Amer Sports Too will take on the task of beating a good proportion of the way as they face headwinds on their route close to the Australian coast.

Keith Kilpatrick update: Keith is making great progress in West Australia. He’s still weak but eating well and doctors are extremely happy with his progress. He intends to fly to Sydney for the finish of leg 2.
