Russia Win

Russia were the surprise winners of the 14th European Optimist Team Cup held on the Wannsee in Berlin over the weekend of 27/28 October, overcoming the very experienced Italian squad in the final.

Sixteen teams from twelve countries, mostly from northern Europe but including the USA, Italy and Slovenia, participated in what has become the traditional end to the north European Optimist season. Conditions were excellent with Force 2-3 on both days and, this year, no snow!
