Racing Delayed Due to Lack of Wind

Ian Pinnell (GBR) won yesterdays race and is second overall. The lack of wind registered in Cascais caused a delay of more than four hours in the seventh race of the Quebramar – 505 World Championship, that ends today.

In a very tactical race, due the the light wind conditions, the British team Ian Pinnell/Tim Hancock took full advantage of being todays pathfinder and held on to the lead, that they secured on the start, until the end of the race. With this victory, Pinnell and Hancock went into second place overall, just behind the Germans Wolfgang Hunger/Holger Jess, that came ninth in the last race.
