There was no racing yesterday on Day Two of the ISAF Womens Match Racing World Championship taking place on Ledro Lake, Italy due to bad weather and rain. Today racing commenced at 12:00 hours in a light southeasterley and in sunshine.

The organisers have now decided that the competitors will complete one large Round Robin to begin, rather than continue in the three Groups as they were on the first day. This is due to the late withdrawal of one boat giving uneven groups.

Marie Bjorling (SWE), Katie Spithill (AUS) and Lotte Pedersen (DEN) were leading their repsective groups before today.

Racing continues though until the 9 September. The Melges 24 Europeans are taking place just next door.
