2003 Games of the Indian Ocean Islands

Sailing has been confirmed on the sports programmes at the 2003 Games of the Indian Ocean Islands, Mauritius.

At a recent meeting on 4 April 2001, between the Mauritius National Olympic Committee, the Organising Committee for the Games and representatives of sailing and the ISAF Regional Games Committee, it was confirmed that sailing has been chosen as one of the 13 sports on the programme for the 2003 Games of the Indian Ocean Islands. The other sports are:

athletics, swiming, football, volleyball, basketball, boxing, weightlifting, judo, table tennis, tennis, badminton and cycling

Provisionally the dates for the Games are 2nd to 11th August 2003.
