A collision at 8.00 pm GMT on Sunday evening has caused serious damage to the Polish boat and she has changed course to head for the coast of Brazil. There is currently no information on which port she is heading for.
At today’s radio conference, Dariusz Drapella said that the cause of the damage is as yet unknown.
At 12.00 pm GMT today, Monday, March 19th, Warta-Polpharma was 700 miles from the coast of Brazil, heading southwest at a restrained pace.
