Biography

Born in 2006, started sailing at the age of 10, in 2016. Since then, a sailor of the Nautical Club of Palaio Faliro, Greece. Started at the Academies of the Club and within the first year progressed to the pre-racing and racing teams. During that first year, participated at the first 11-year old Optimist Championship, which took place in Marathonas, Athens. Since 2019, a number of medals were awarded in all the local interclub regattas. In 2019 qualified for the first time to the National Sailing team to represent Greece to the Optimist European Champion which took place at Crozon, France. In 2020 qualified again to represent Greece at the European Championship at Portoroz, Slovania. In 2020, took the 3rd position of the National Optimist Championship. The top sailing moment as an Optimist sailor, was the Gold medal together with the IODA Perpetual Cup concurred at the 2021 European Optimist Championship in Cadiz, Spain. September 2022 entered the ILCA 4 racing team of the Nautical Club of Palaio Faliro, Athens, Greece and won a silver medal at the ILCA 4 World Championship held in Volos, Greece and a number of medals in almost all the local Interclub regattas. In July 2023 has also won a 3rd position at the National Championship held in July 2023, again in Volos Greece, held just before the World Championship. September 2023 entered the ILCA 6 sailing team of the Nautical Club of Palaio Faliro, Athens, Greece and the first international race was the 2024 Youth and Men World Championship held in Mar Del Plata, Argentina in January 2024 ranked 16th.
