    George Michalopoulos and his current teammate Giannos Tournis are the 2024 U17 International 420 World Champions, a championship taking place in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in January 2024. Previously, George won the 2023 U17 420 Junior Europeans in Gdynia, Poland, and came second in the 2023 U17 420 World Championship in Alicante, Spain, with his previous teammate, Ionas Stromatias.
