Candidates Goals

1. Strong support for the Tokyo Olympics in 2021: if games are cancelled, a world-class Sailing vent should be organised, featuring all the current Olympic classes, plus others such as J 70, M 24, Soling, Star, Foiling Moth and kites, both male and female . The event would have a special program for developing nations, marking the resurgence of sailing after the pandemic and making our great community proud.

2. Paralympic Games, Mid-term effort to claim back the organisation of a Paralympic sailing event. Sailing has been a Paralympic Sport from 2000 to 2016 with many passionate athletes.

3. Equipment Supply: strong support for WS's anti-Monopoly policy and its implementation. We must continue the effort withing Sailing in general and withing the Organization specifically.

4. Equipment Quality: WS should strengthen its technical and inspection capacities to ensure fair play, adopting and enforcing objective rules for all and monitoring the quality of the equipment to which we trust our lives at sailing.

5. Equipment Range: I propose WS call a design contest to develop competitive sailing options after Optimist, for light sailors, especially for women.

6. Organisation: we need to refocus WS's agenda without weakening its technical and organisational capacity. We need to strengthen technical teams and event planning and explore synergies with other organizations.

7. Governance: we should take a hard look at organisation and its finances. We should specifically focus on office costs and sponsorship deals.

8. Our future: I believe WS mission includes expanding the love of sailing to the next generation .
