Day five of the 2018 Sailing World Cup Series in Hyères, France, will see the first medals of the week awarded with six Medal Races scheduled.

Day five of the 2018 Sailing World Cup Series in Hyères, France, will see the first medals of the week awarded with six Medal Races scheduled.

The week so far has seen some close racing between the 647 sailors from 46 nations due to light winds.
 
Today will bare light winds of 3-5 knots in the morning, coming in from the north-east
veering east-south, with wind speeds expected to increase to 7-9 knots towards the afternoon.
 
There will be a few scattered clouds in the morning but clear skies in the afternoon.
 
Today is medal race day for the Men’s and Women’s RS:X, 49er, 49erFX, Nacra 17 and 2.4 Norlin OD.
