ISAF Rolex World Sailor of the Year Awards 2006

The ISAF Rolex World Sailor of the Year Awards 2006 were held on Tuesday 7 November in the Wanha Satama, Helsinki, Finland.

The awards presentation ceremony took place at a star studded dinner held in a historic warehouse in the heart of Helsinki. Hosted by renowned sailor and commentator Gary JOBSON (USA) the oustanding sailing achievements of all of the nominees was celebrated.

Mike SANDERSON (NZL) and Paige RAILEY (USA) were announced as the 2006 winners of the Award and both were in Helsinki to receive their trophies and Rolex timepieces.
