Rolex Capri Sailing Week/Volcano Race 2013

The third edition of the Rolex Capri Sailing Week Volcano Race concluded with the final prizegiving ceremony today at the docks in Capri's Marina Grande. During the ceremony, the crew of Alexander Schaerer's Caol Ila R (USA) received the week's most coveted prize - the Rolex Trophy and Rolex timepiece - awarded to the overall winner of the event on IRC.

Ben AINSLIE (GBR)

Ben went to the Olympics ranked 5th in the World and was determined to improve on his 1996 Silver Medal in the Laser Class. Replicating 1996, the battle for Gold was closely fought but this time it was Ben who claimed Gold, having successfully sailed his rival down the fleet in the final race.
