The penultimate event of the World Match Racing Tour kicks off tomorrow with ISAF Match Racing World Champion, Ian Williams (GBR) GAC Pindar squaring off against the local hero Blythe Walker (BER) Team RenRe.
Team Germany, composed of the Farr 40 Struntje Light owned by Wolfgang Schaefer and the Melges 32 Teasing Machine owned by Jean Francois Cruette, dominated the coastal race and now sits at the top of the overall classification in the Audi Sardinia Cup, the ISAF Offshore Team World Championship organized by the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda.
Team Italy 2, composed of the Farr 40 Joe Fly and the Melges 32 B Lin Sailing, heads the overall classification at the end of day one of the Audi Sardinia Cup, the ISAF Offshore Team World Championship.
Eight teams representing seven nations - Germany, Italy (two teams), Malta, Monaco, Switzerland, Great Britain and United States - are ready to compete in the 2010 ISAF Offshore Team World Championship, also known as the Audi Sardinia Cup taking place in Porto Cervo from 28 June to 3 July.

Team Spain continue to head the battle for the ISAF Offshore Team World Championship title, although the Italians are now snapping at their heels after the distance race on day three of the Sardinia Rolex Cup.
At the end of August ten sailors from six countries, supported by their coaches, attended the first ISAF Paralympic Development Program clinic in Weymouth and Portland, Great Britain.
Led by Betsy Alison, US Sailing Paralympic Coach and Chair of the Disabled Sailing Committee, with support from Matt Grier, Royal Yachting Association Paralympic Development Coach and Jacob Haug, a 2.4mR coach sailors and coaches were put through their paces.
Throughout the clinic sailors benefited from on-water expertise, sailing in the Paralympic one-person keelboat, the 2.4mR, as well as daily on-shore briefings.
