Submissions

RNA's or IFDS Committee Chairs who would like to provide a Submission which will be discussed during the AGM need to do so in accordance with the IFDS By Laws (By Law IV (a) (iii)) as follows:

All IFDS RNA's and Committee Chairs may propose motions for consideration at the AGM.  A motion may be concerning any issue under the jurisdiction of IFDS. The motion shall state the:

" Proposal
" Current Position
" Rules (if any) Considered to be Affected
" Reason for the Motion

No Ordinary Motion shall be put to an Annual General Meeting unless it is received by IFDS by 1700 UTC (1600 BST), Monday 6 September 2010.

IFDS Executive Committee Nominations

During the AGM meeting, elections for two IFDS Vice-Presidents will be held to fill the vacancies for IFDS Executive Committee positions.  The positions to be filled are those of Linda Merkle and David Staley whose four-year terms will have come to an end.

In order to be eligible for the office of Vice-President, candidates must be nominated by an IFDS RNA.  Only IFDS RNAs in good standing are entitled to nominate candidates for the office of Vice-President. 

All completed nomination forms for the IFDS Vice-Presidents must be received at IFDS, c/o ISAF Secretariat no later than 0900 UTC (0800 BST), Monday 13 September 2010.

IFDS Committee Nominations

The IFDS would like to encourage individuals interested in the IFDS to stand on an IFDS Committee/s.

The IFDS Committees are as follows:
IFDS Coaches Commission;
IFDS Development Committee;
IFDS Equipment Evaluation Commission;
IFDS Event & Scheduling Commission;
IFDS Fundraising Committee;
IFDS Measurement Classes Sub-Committee;
IFDS Medical Committee;
IFDS Governance & Procedures Committee;
IFDS Sailors Advisory Council;
IFDS Technical Advisors;
IFDS Technical Committee.

In order to be eligible for nomination to an IFDS Committee, a completed IFDS Committee Nomination Form must be received at the IFDS, c/o ISAF Secretariat no later than 0900 UTC (0800 BST), Monday 13 September 2010.

IFDS Recognized National Authorities (RNAs)

All RNAs are entitled to nominate two representatives to attend the AGM.  One person will be able to vote on behalf of the RNA and the other will be a Non-Voting Representative.  RNAs should inform me of who their representatives attending the AGM will be no later than 0900 UTC (0800 BST) Monday 25 October 2010.

Please note that RNA's in attendance of the meeting will need to have paid any outstanding RNA Subscriptions by bank transfer prior to the meeting.
