Event: One Person Dinghy - Laser Standard

Alec ANDERSON (IVB) will be representing the British Virgin Islands at the 2008 Volvo Youth Sailing ISAF World Championships. This will be his first time competing at the event although the British Virgin Islands have competed before. ISAF is pleased to be able to offer funding to the British Virgin Islands. At 16 years old, Alec shows signs of a promising career ahead of him. The support which the Athlete Participation Programme offers in terms of coaching and funding will hopefully help benefit him and the Royal British Virgin Islands Yacht Club in years to come.
