The Bermuda Sailing Association will be receiving APP funding for three sailors to attend the 2008 Volvo Youth Sailing ISAF World Championship. Bermuda has in a place a successful sailing program, and although the programme is small they have already developed many good sailors. It is hoped that by receiving the funding and sending young sailors to the Championship they will heighten the awareness of the sport within the Country. This will be the first time at the competition for all three sailors and they will be hoping to make an entrance onto the world stage.
