2007 Athlete Participation Programme
2007 saw the Volvo Youth Sailing ISAF World Championship take to the water in Kingston, Canada. As in previous years the programme was extremely popular and ISAF selected 16 sailors from 9 different countries to be part of the 2007 Athlete Participation Programme.

Once again, with thanks to the World Youth Sailing Trust, ISAF employed the coaching expertise of Jim SALTONSTALL (GBR) to work with the sailors. Along with the other sailors who attended the Championships, they received extensive coaching previous to, and throughout the competition. ISAF also partnered with the organising committee and the Canadian Yachting Association who provided a further two coaches to support Jim and to really focus on working with the participants on the programme.
