The 2012 Paralympic Sailing Competition will feature 80 athletes across three events.
National Paralympic Committees (NPCs) may enter 1 boat per event with the host nation directly qualifying one place in each event. The remaining places are decided through a qualification system.
To be eligible for selection by an NPC, all athletes must have competed in an official International Association for Disabled Sailing (IFDS) sanctioned competition between 1 January 2009 and 31 July 2012 and be internationally classified with either a 'Review' or 'Confirmed' sport class status.
