The Organzing Authority for the London 2012 Paralympic Sailing Competition is the International Association for Disabled Sailing (IFDS), International Sailing Federation (ISAF) and the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) in conjunction with the London Organizing Committee of the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games (LOCOG).

A team of experts is appointed by IFDS to ensure fair play and good racing. The team is composed of five elements: the Technical Delegates, the IFDS Course Representatives, the IFDS Paralympic Jury, the IFDS Classifiers and the IFDS Equipment Inspection Team.
