The 2008 Olympic Sailing Competition will take place on the Yellow Sea out of the Chinese coastal city of Qingdao, located approximately 450 miles southeast of Beijing. The Qingdao Olympic Sailing Center has been purpose-built for the 2008 Olympic Sailing Competition and will offer unrivalled facilities for the athletes, coaches, media, support staff, volunteers and everyone else involved in the sailing events at the Beijing Olympic Games.
