Modus Vivendi-3Alfa from Greece leads after seven races at the 2010 Platu 25 World Championship in Alicante, Spain.
Day three opened with the disqualification of Bribón-Movistar after the Jury decision following a protest by the Swiss team Aranis and dropping the Spnish team from seventh to eighth overall.

As for the racing the day had three main actors on the scene: on one side the boats Modus Vivendi-3Alfa and Carpantxo and on the other one the wind conditions that caused a postponement of nearly two hours to the scheduled starting time. For the same reason the Committee, in the third race, after a general recall was forced to abandon racing because of the light and shifty breeze.

Modus Vivendi-3Alfa, skippered by Kostas Karageorgiou were world champions in 2008 and silver medallists in 2009 and are on target to to win back the title. In the first race of the day the Greek team took the bullet with Servimil (ESP) finishing second. An eight in the second race of the day puts the Greek team on 21 points after seven races.

Carpantxo (ESP) won the second race of the day to consolidate their second place on the overall leaderboard. Third position is still occupied by La Revoltosa, now on 38 points. There are two more days of racing still to sail with the 2010 Champions to be crowned on Saturday 24 July.
