British teams also hold third and fourth place withStevie Morrison and Ben Rhodes (GBR) and Paul Brotherton and Mark Asquith (GBR) following up. Brotherton and Asquith had a good day which moved them past the Sibello brothers of Italy, Pietro Sibello and Gianfranco Sibello, who fell to sixth overall. Emmanuel Dyen and Stéphane Christidis of France hold fifth. Defending World Champions Nathan Outteridge and Iain Jensen (AUS) lie in 10th place overall.
Racing began an hour earlier than scheduled in anticipation of the wind shutting off. After the gold fleet finished, the silver fleet was sent out but no races were held and the silver will be the first start in the morning. The race committee went swimming.
Predictions for the wind tomorrow are for mid-teens with warmer temperatures.
