Argentines Nahuel Martinez and Axel Vugdelija and Danish duo Oscar Haumann and Taus Holtug battle off the line

29er World Championship 2010
Freeport, Bahamas

Twelve races in at the 29er Worlds in the Bahamas, France holds a narrow overall lead ahead of Denmark.
After a breezy start to the regatta, lighter wind conditions tested the fleet in Freeport on Thursday. French sailors Kevin Fisher and Glenn Gouron sailed a great day of 1, 3, 9 scores to move into first in front of the Danish duo Oscar Haumann and Taus Holtug who had held the top spot all week. Max Fraser and David Liebenberg of the USA have stayed consistent and move into third overall with Argentines Nahuel Martinez and Axel Vugdelija dropping to fourth.

Predictions for the wind tomorrow are for mid-teens with warmer temperatures.

Racing in the 35-boat 29er fleet continues through until the final races on Saturday.
