Canadian Yachting Association News
Kingston, Ontario, Canada

With the anticipation of new funding from Sport Canada, the Canadian Yachting Association (CYA) is accepting applications for two coaching positions with the Canadian Sailing Team.
The ideal candidate will have four to eight years of experience in Olympic Classes at the International level, either as an athlete or coach or some combination thereof. International experience should be more extensive than merely North America.

Candidates who have an NCCP Level IV Coaching Certificate or who are enrolled in the NCCP Level IV Coaching Certification Programme will be given preference. Similar certification from other Nations may be considered by CYA as a substitute.

Specific skills related to double-handed Olympic events are preferred but not essential. Additional skill sets relating to other Olympic event equipment are also an asset.

The CYA manages the Canadian Sailing Team and Olympic Sailing Team, working closely with our partners, Sport Canada and the Canadian Olympic Committee. The CYA is based at Portsmouth Olympic Harbour in Kingston, Ontario and has a full-time staff of approximately ten people.

Go to the CYA website or the ISAF Job Opportunities microsite to find details of how to apply.
